Quick Guide to Sparking Up Your Energy Levels
Have a large glass of water.
Good hydration is a quick and easy way to perk up your energy. Even better if you have NingXia Red sachets with you for a pick-me-up on the go, or a can of NingXia Zyng. It’s a natural lightly carbonated blend of sparkling water with vitamins, pure black pepper and lime essential oils, wolfberry puree, and white tea extract. Low in calories with no artificial sweeteners, if you’re wanting to wean yourself off harsh energy drinks and empty-calorie soft drinks in a positive way without sacrificing a bubbly refresher, this is just the ticket. (Please contact me to order.)
Keep a packet of mixed nuts in your bag, satchel or desk.
A small handful of raw nuts will help your blood sugar levels and give you a sustained protein boost to ward off the hunger and put something nutritious in your tummy.
Top Up Your Engine Oils
Take off your shoes if you can and wipe your feet with a moist towelette, preferably a nice natural one free of synthetics. Young Living has Thieves® Wipes which are great for this purpose. Then apply a couple of drops of En-R-Gee™ or authentic peppermint essential oil to your palms and smooth into your feet. Repeat, massaging lightly into your shins and calves instead. Close your eyes, cup your palms over your nose and inhale deeply. Wash your hands to be sure you don’t accidentally rub your eye with an oily finger. Never a good move.
Freshen Up
Apply some hand cream and massage the fleshy tissue on your palm beneath each thumb for 10-15 seconds to stimulate energy points.
Spritz your face and neck with a hydrating mist and freshen your make-up. (Men, you can skip the make-up but hydrating mist feels surprisingly good! Try it. You might like it.)
How are the underarms holding up? Don’t be tempted to do the self-sniff test. A quick deodorant top-up rarely goes astray. Please choose a natural one.
This quick boost takes under 5 minutes to do but I guarantee it will help revive you for hours to come.
