“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.” A.A. Milne
(Companion oil: Young Living Gratitude™)
Today’s quote has inspired me to find a copy of Winnie-the-Pooh and read it again.
As grown-ups, we can be reminded of simple truths and life’s essentials when we read children’s classics. Written in 1926 by A.A. Milne and illustrated by E.H. Shepard, Winnie-the-Pooh and the other Pooh stories are gold mines. No wonder Benjamin Hoff used them to help exemplify his points in his books, The Tao of Pooh and The Te of Piglet.
If you’re feeling blah — whether a mere blip of blah on the radar or a seismic surge of blah — I positively guarantee that giving thanks for the blessings you already have is one way to change that. Writing in a gratitude journal regularly, or better yet, every day, is a simple and positive habit to start. (You can read more about that in another of our Feel Good Friday posts on gratitude.)
This will also connect you up with The Good Oil Team for our personal support and coaching. We'd love to help you on your journey to vibrant well-being the natural way!

Using a beautiful essential oil that was formulated specifically to foster your gratitude is another simple way to have you feeling warm and fuzzy about how special your life is right here, right now, in this moment. Young Living Gratitude™ smells gorgeous, so it’s not only effortless to use but you’ll be glad to inhale and rub a drop or two into your wrists and the edges of your ears often.
Plenty of Young Living oilers use it as their 100% natural personal fragrance instead of synthetic perfumes. When people ask you what you’re wearing, tell them, “Gratitude!” and offer, “Would you like some?” (Having a successful Young Living business is often as easy as that ! Please contact me if you’d love to know more.)
Young Living Gratitude™ includes the authentic essential oils of:
- frankincense (elevating to the mind and used spiritually for thousands of years)
- Idaho balsam fir (frees blocks and recharges energy)
- myrrh (high in sesquiterpenes for the control centre of feelings, and legend has it, possesses the frequency of wealth)
- bergamot (furocoumarin-free for safe exposure to UV, and both uplifting and calming)
If you decide to spend the weekend with Pooh bear and his friends, I thoroughly recommend the hard copy over an e-book. Call me old school and I’ll happily take it as a compliment. There’s something about the feeling of leafing through a book’s pages that can’t be replicated.
