“Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall.” Larry Wilde
(Companion oil: Young Living Christmas Spirit™)
I was in a store the other day (in spite of my best efforts to avoid them for the next few weeks), and overheard a couple of blokes talking. I wasn’t trying to listen but what can I say, I’ve been self-applying this snazzy ear tune-up technique and it was a bit hard to avoid hearing their conversation!
It went something along the lines of ‘bah-humbug’, ‘it’s become so commercial’ and ‘wake me when it’s the New Year’.
It’s easy to have those moments — if you observe this tradition, I’m guessing you have at least one close friend or family member who struggles to get into the festive spirit. And even when you love this time of year, it can bring challenges and stress: the sadness of missing lost or absent loved ones; social gatherings with clashing personalities locking horns or stewing, or both; expenditure that gets out of hand; work deadlines looming ahead of vacation time; honouring obligations to keep the peace rather than because you want to.
I could go on, but this is Feel Good Friday and I can already feel the mood sagging. Sorry about that !
To the rescue: let’s open a bottle of Young Living Christmas Spirit™. If you’d love an easy way to jolly yourself up (or someone else in the household) and shift your focus back to the reason for all the celebrating, this one’s for you.
We’ll talk about the properties of the essential oils in this blend shortly, but first up, let’s talk about fragrance: it smells like cosiness wrapped in good cheer and baked in the oven to send out clouds of comfort and joy to your nostrils. Christmas Spirit™ comes into its own when diffused. Not only does it lift the mood throughout the house, its molecules hang a festive scent in the air while helping to cleanse it of pollutants and toxins.
And diffusing makes the valuable constituents of the essential oils in the blend readily available for inhaling their benefits without even thinking about it. Set it on a timer and it will softly mist out its spicy-sweet goodness as you go about your day and night.
Christmas Spirit™ contains essential oils of orange (uplifting and peaceful), cinnamon bark (thought to attract wealth and general abundance of being) and spruce (also an oil of prosperity, and releasing energetic blocks to bring a sense of grounding). Fun fact: the oils in Christmas Spirit™ are also included in Young Living Abundance™. Does this tell you something? And Abundance™ makes a great alternative to Christmas Spirit™, too.
Other ways to incorporate this welcoming blend into your holidays are to apply a drop on your heart, wrists, neck or soles of your feet, and make your own potpourri with cedar balls and decorative wood chips and paper ornaments. It will evaporate, so top up when it needs it.
This will also connect you up with The Good Oil Team for our personal support and coaching. We'd love to help you on your journey to vibrant well-being the natural way!

A word of caution: I caught myself humming carols all morning while diffusing, so be prepared, you could well end up spreading cheer without even trying.
