Essential oils are volatile liquids: Yes or No?
If you answered, “Yes,” you know your oils!
Highly complex with hundreds of naturally occurring constituents that perform all kinds of positive influences over our mind, body, soul and vibrational energy, essential oils are also volatile.
This means that once applied to the skin, they start to absorb but they also start to evaporate. Don’t worry, essential oils being volatile liquids isn’t a bad thing: if essential oils weren’t volatile, we wouldn’t be able to smell them!
But sometimes after applying oils topically to a particular location, it can be beneficial to put a hydrating protective layer over the top to help seal in the oils and moisture and replenish the natural moisture barrier of our skin. This is where Young Living Rose Ointment™ fits in. It can help oils to penetrate rather than evaporate. But that’s far from the only thing Rose Ointment™ is great for and shortly we’ll show you more. Firstly, though, a word on quality and safety.
Plenty of personal care products out in the marketplace still contain questionable ingredients in spite of many such ingredients coming under the spotlight for potential hazards with long-term use. Lots of manufacturers are jumping on board and eliminating key ‘nasties’ but when you become an educated label reader, you’ll find that there are still other less-than-desirable ingredients that are included. And sometimes there are virtually useless fillers added to help make the product cheaper for the same amount of volume as a product that is missing those fillers.
Young Living Rose Ointment™ gives you peace of mind of knowing that only the good and potent stuff is put in and all of the dodgy or unnecessary stuff is left out.
Its label reads so botanically-rich, you almost feel like snacking on it. (Goes without saying but as it seems we all have to make disclaimers everywhere today to be on the safe side: please don’t eat it!)
This lavish balm-like ointment includes sunflower seed wax, raspberry seed oil, passionfruit seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, Sea Buckthorn fruit oil and avocado oil along with a bunch of other seed oils and essential oils that are superb for supporting a nourished and smooth appearance of the skin. These oils include the highly precious and extremely costly rose oil Rosa damascena, myrrh oil (yes, one of the three gifts to the Christ child), ylang ylang (beautiful for balancing masculine and feminine energies – so yes, gents, this ointment is also for you!) and tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia, esteemed in folklore for its cleansing properties).
It’s vegan friendly, cruelty-free and now that we’ve told you about the delicious things that ARE inside the jar, we’ll also make it clear that there are ZERO parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, animal-derived ingredients, synthetic preservatives, synthetic fragrances or artificial colours. Pure and simple, nothing buried in the fine print.
