I’m passionate about health. I believe it’s crucial to raise awareness of the nasties that are present in the everyday things we’re exposed to so that we can make the choice to avoid and reduce them.
Unfortunately, there are so many such nasties, it might seem like I’m constantly on my soap box about them. That’s one of the risks of being passionate about what you believe in.
But with risk comes reward, and if my talking about such things helps even one person make healthier and more vibrant choices about what you eat, rub on and have around the home and our planet for generations to come, it’s worth it.
Clean, non-toxic nutrition is a vital key to living in a state of good health and wellbeing — and that’s what we’re about at The Good Oil Daily.
There is already much compelling research (and climbing) on links between GMO foods and ingredients and challenges like diabetes, heart disease, weight problems, even autism and cancer. Not to mention the alarming concerns over the environmental impact side of things.
According to Wikipedia, Monsanto is “a publicly traded American multinational agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation headquartered in Creve Coeur, Greater St. Louis, Missouri.”
I’ve done my own research into Monsanto and you might like to do the same.
Monsanto is approaching the United States Congress to pass legislation making it illegal to require GMO labelling and illegal to ban GMO products. (Most of Europe has banned GMO products.)
If you live in the States, you can click here to let your senators and representatives know you’d like them to protect the USDA definition of “organic” as meaning non-GMO, and let consumers decide if they want GMO products to be labelled as such.
And if you’re feeling a bit hot under the collar over situations like this one, a drop or two of Young Living StressAway™ on your wrists and inhaled works like a charm.
This will also connect you up with The Good Oil Team for our personal support and coaching. We'd love to help you on your journey to vibrant well-being the natural way!
